Much of suburb still a big mess

METHINKS that Sally Kernohan may have sniffed too much of the drug-laden air of Central Hill before writing her letter ("MBDA touch needed at Fort Frederick", March 3).
Cement pavers and rocks painted white, and "cement hills" in Trinder Square do not an upgrade make. Drug sellers, prostitutes and the like abound as do litter and rats.
Yes the Athenaeum was given a deserved upgrade, but as for the rest! All well and good to be positive and upbeat, but reality turns and bites daily.
