Powerless to act

I HAVE applied to buy electricity on-line but never heard back, more than a month later.

Many people are complaining about this.

In most other parts of South Africa, this facility has been set up for years.

Are we still having to pay the metro millions for the stadium, thus denying us the right to buy electricity on-line or from cellphone banking?

The danger and inconvenience of withdrawing cash is bad.

Maybe the cash taken for purchases is easily taken elsewhere, as cash is not traceable.

Whatever the reason, PE is always considered backward, inefficient and corrupt.
