REPLIES TO HERALD COLUMNISTS
LET’S make Kazeka Kuse president (she thinks she’s better than Mandela).
FANTASTIC speech, Piet Naude. We hope our president reads it. Well done!
KEEP EYE ON THE BALL
I SUGGEST our cricketers leave the fashion sunglasses at home and keep an eye on the ball instead.
HEROES in town? Heaven help our cricket if they are our heroes. A winner is a hero not a loser.
IF the Proteas could find a way to shave that Merv Hughes moustache off Mitchell Johnson, then the battle is half won.
SA Cricket in trouble. Jacques Kallis was the glue. He carried the team and without Mark Boucher, Graeme Smith has limited support. The coach is a puppet, so unless that changes, we are in trouble.
OLD Chinese proverb say, “fend off fast, bouncing cricket ball with helmet, not gloves, otherwise lose wicket, test and series,” Confusedius.
CONDOLENCES to the family of the policeman who was killed in the Sundays River shooting. It is deplorable to kill anyone who helps to keep us safe. Police say “no stone will be unturned” in their investigation to find the vermin who did this. Murder is murder and these killers all need to be put away for ever.
IN an effort to get kids off the streets, I have started an art/hobbies class at a local primary school. The classroom we are using has been vandalised and light cables stolen. I urgently need a sponsor to help get lights fixed. Contact me on 072-955-4707.
PINE TREES CUT DOWN
