EP KINGS IN THE CURRIE CUP

EP Kings, I hope you can play your Currie Cup matches in PE on Saturday afternoons around 3pm so that your supporters that don’t have transport to watch night games can go and watch during the day.

EP KINGS SUPPORTER

I TAKE my hat off to Cheeky Watson for his tireless efforts with regards to the survival of rugby in this region. Sir, I salute you with both hands.

LUVUYO MPANA, PE

CHEEKY Watson, when are you getting experienced first-class rugby players to play for the Kings? You need at least four to six good players to join now. There are some good players playing overseas who’s contracts end at the end of June and who are coming back to SA

OSCAR AND THE STEENKAMPS

STEENKAMPS, you should have been prepared for old age. Your kids owe you nothing. Would you have been supported forever?

NN

I HAVE had enough of Saint Reeva and Lord Oscar in the press and on TV. This media trial will end in a not guilty verdict in the courts.

RIEMO

I STILL feel sorry for Reeva’s parents for losing such a beautiful, loving daughter but the way that they are using this very sad happening to enrich their lives by asking money for articles about her makes me sick to the core. Just wondering what Reeva would have thought about the events taking place.

LINDA

WHY must the Steenkamps give their time and energy so that authors can become rich?

‘FALL OF THE ANC’ BOOK

PRINCE Mashile and Mzukisi Qobo’s inherent hatred of the ANC formed the basis of their incoherent book, Fall of the ANC, that is riddled with innuendos and conspiracy theories. Certainly not worth the paper it’s printed on; a hatchet job depicting just one mindset with very angry views towards the ANC.

AUSTRALIA THUMP PROTEAS

MITCHELL Johnson was absolutely great. Can we be less safety-first with our selections. Wayne Parnell will bring variation to bowling attack. Quinton de Kock should open with Smith. We were not prepared for the Aussie onslaught – an indictment on team management.

JOHN

MICHAEL Clarke was right. The Aussie bowlers were better. But let the (St George’s Park) band begin to put them off as we all make an effort to support our boys in PE this week.

MA

THE SA cricket team have been in a steady decline since Russell Domingo and Adrian Birrell were appointed. Get rid of these two before we start losing to the likes of Bangladesh.

ERROL

WHAT idiot wins a toss and decides to bat last on what’s going to be a deteriorating pitch? Graeme Smith needs to go.

ADRIAN, UITENHAGE

NOW that Graeme Smith has Irish citizenship he should pack his bags, leave the Proteas and go and build up their nation and coach the under-9 or 11s. He is currently a liability in the Proteas side. Give someone like Quinton de Kock a chance. He won’t be worse!

GANG VIOLENCE

OOM Ben, our mayor, you’ve got your bodyguards protecting you and your family. We in the northern suburbs must protect our own and at times we are too scared because the cowardly gangs might harm our innocent children. So I’m asking you to speak to YOUR gang leaders to protect us – or lose our vote!

PERLEMOEN TASK FORCE

WHILE the whole coastline cannot be policed, a drive along Marine Drive any day will reveal numerous poachers who go about their business blatantly. Police vehicles simply drive past. Please furnish us with elite units number.

ABALONE ADIEU

RE: the perlemoen initiative – who are permit holders? Merely taking out the competition? What will be different?

JAC

UITENHAGE PROTESTS

UITENHAGE protest leader warns of retaliation against the police. You want to retaliate against the wrong people – it is the ANC you must look for. But remember you voted for the ANC, so be satisfied what you are getting. Remember in May you are getting a chance to put your x behind the right party. Don’t make the same mistake again.

TEACHER SHORTAGES

WE are qualified, unemployed teachers in PE. Yet there are schools like Chatty with teacher shortages. The department has been “planning” since 1994.

MBALI

PE DRIVERS

PLEASE just what is it that idiot PE drivers do not understand about the simple four lettered road sign, STOP?!

VISITOR

I CONSTANTLY see despicable drivers or their passengers throwing all sorts of rubbish out of the vehicle’s windows while on our city streets. These people who use our streets as their dustbin are dirty and disgusting. All one has to do is keep a plastic bag (Checkers, Spar, etc) in the vehicle for rubbish and when full, put it in a dustbin at home, at, work, etc.

POLITICAL STRATEGIST’S PAYDAY

R92000 per month for a salary! What does a political strategist do? What qualifications are needed? Shocking waste of taxpayers money.

UNHAPPY TAXPAYER

STATE OF THE HOSPITALS IN THE NATION

HARD to listen to President Jacob Zuma when breakfast at Livingstone Hospital was sloppy porridge with only one spoon for six patients. How can this happen with TB rampant? I suppose when he has his own private clinic, our president couldn’t care less.

I would like to commend Michell Johnson for being the perfect role model for the kids(my son Ethan included) on how to accept a defeat graciously after The Second Test against The Proteas on Sunday. The Australians have a reputation for being unsportsmanlike, but you were the exception to the rule, as everyone around me saw and commented on. You are a TRUE CHAMPION.
Best wishes on a successful career.
