CHER, PE

JUNE and Barry Steenkamp, don’t drop your prices for media cheapskates who whinge about paying. And charge opportunist John Carlin double the normal rate!

REPLIES TO READERS’ COMMENTS

TEMBALETU, please forgive Ralph West for his inability to accept the mess left at Hobie Beach. Meanwhile cast off the racial mindset that binds your spirit or forever be a prisoner of your own prejudice.

STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS

PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma stated to parliament that there was no longer a corrupt government serving the few elite. Really? Am i missing the plot?

IAN

WHY a banquet for 2000 people to hear President Jacob Zuma’s state of the nation speech? Why not sit in his office like US President Barack Obama does and save R6-million?

YOUR Xhosa/English story book is such a good idea and so well presented. Wouldn’t it be possible for you to publish a simple Xhosa/English dictionary, maybe just a few easy and well-used words every week (six to 10 words). How wonderful it would be to learn and understand each others’ languages!

it continues to amaze me that people complain about poor service delivery and yet they coninue to support the very people that are responsible for this. the ANC has been in power now for 20years and have a proven bad track record. when are the people going to learn the lesson. we need to vote differently this time round. boycotting the election is not the way to go either. It amazes me that the population who are so irate over this issue (service delivery) still plump for the very source of their misery.
Will the forthcoming election show their discontent? only time will tell.
Nothing will change until there is change.
