Where are green bins?

WELL done on the Helenvale clean up. Its great to see people taking ownership of their own backyards.

Just one point struck me on seeing the "before" and "after" photos.

Where do people put their rubbish en route to school or work? I am an avid recycler and was recently very frustrated to find that the one place I could get rid of all my recycling had now vanished. This facility was the only one around for kilometres that had plastic, newspaper and glass all together in one recycling facility.

Perhaps your readers may remember the World Cup Soccer here a few years ago had recycling bins for all three products everywhere you looked. It's all very well to clean up, but to maintain that level of cleanliness and stay green we need recycling facilities within easy reach of a citizen, in a hurry. Anyone know what happened to all those green bins for the soccer? Can we dig them out of mothballs?
