Dreadful way to deal with issue

THE management of King's College Primary School in East London has come in for criticism from several organisations for expelling a Grade R pupil because of his dreadlocks.

The department of education should really take its constitutional mandate more seriously. It's become a yearly thing to read about children not being admitted to schools because of dreadlocks.

Why can't they just send circulars out explaining how this sensitive matter must be dealt with.
