John Tallant roadworks now halted

ARE there any persons in this city who would be able to answer the following:
What is happening to the upgrade at John Tallant Road in Deal Party? The roadworks have simply died a slow death as the contractors on site are nowhere to seen.
How long will we have to endure the unsightly bypass through Deal Party each morning on our way to work? Surely our city fathers should be aware of this.
