Chiefs out to prove point

THE draw for the MTN8 semifinals was very interesting as Kaizer Chiefs will face defending champions Platinum Stars and Pirates have a very tricky encounter with Wits.

What I like about the draw is that Amakhosi need to prove a point against Platinum Stars as we always struggle to beat them in the league encounters. Wits will also want to prove a point against Pirates as they lost in a competition to Pirates last year.

Kaizer Chiefs went through with a 4-0 win over Black Aces. This is one of the biggest scores in the MTN competition.

Amakhosi players are proving themselves without the regulars like Siphiwe Tshabalala and Bernard Parker.

I am dreaming of another cup final between the two giants of the continent, Pirates and Chiefs, but we cannot underestimate our opponents.
