Misplaced trust the cause of Aids deaths

HOW do we solve the HIV/Aids epidemic? The medical experts have tried to solve the epidemic that is slowly taking away young lives in our country.

Scientists have been looking for a once-off solution that will bring joy to millions of infected patients all over the world. Ironically some campaigners are blaming the US government for infecting millions of people with this deadly virus that has gone out of control and the young of all races are suffering the outcome, irrespective of its origins.

How do we control this scourge in our society, do we need medical help or is it within us to solve this mysterious outburst of a virus that seems to baffle all who have ventured to solve its spread in our society?

Trust is one of the major causes of spread of this virus. Young partners mostly perceive "love" as a key to the virtuous trust that exists within these new relationships.

Most people impulsively trust their partners that the use of a condom is soon forgotten and the result is unprotected sex.

Each partner is looking to find love by risking his/her life with subsequent positive results for infection by the virus.

How do we control the act of impulsive sex, the desire to be with that person you lust for without compromising the self in the process? Educational processes aimed at teaching people about HIV/Aids should also be directed at relationships with relevance to love, trust and sex.

These should not be confused with unprotected sex, until such time that both partners have medical confirmation of their status, before sacrificing their lives.
