'Delighted to be disappointed' by lack of litter

THIS year's International Coastal Cleanup took place in very windy conditions this past Saturday.
On our stretch of Bushy Park Farm coast, we were delighted to be "disappointed" by the smallest collection of rubbish in the 20 years that we have been involved in this project.
We had plenty of willing volunteer collectors, but, sadly, ran out of rubbish to gather far too quickly.
A huge thanks to John Huddlestone of Helicopter Charter and Training and Kevin Kelly of Xtreme projects who made the removal of the refuse by chopper possible.
