Ex-Bay player making waves

SUPERSPORT goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is making people sit up and take notice in the PSL. He is an amazingly agile goalkeeper blessed with good hands and anticipation.

This is another lesson for the footballers from the Bay. Work hard, sacrifice and focus on what you want in life.

It must have been tough for the boy to leave the security of his parental home at a young age to seek fame and fortune in football. The national coach called him up to the national squad as an observer because he can see the immense potential of the player.

Let’s hope Williams can stay focussed and work even harder. Soon he could be the next big goalkeeper in South Africa.

He could even play overseas one day. If you dream, dream big. Never ever give up on your dreams.

Anything is possible if you believe. There is no short cut to success. Humility and hard work is the key to it all.
