Motorists baffled by markings on intersection

I WRITE this letter to warn motorists of the possibility of a heavy fine if they are baffled by the road marking at the Doncaster Road junction into Cape Road in Central Hill, Port Elizabeth. These markings are confusing, misleading, hidden and fading, and can also be described as ambiguous.

A R1000 fine is the price you will pay if you don’t stop at the stop street. I ask the question: which stop street?

I am told by a senior member of the traffic department that this situation is under investigation.
