Video of dad putting baby to sleep in toy car goes viral

EVERY parent knows there’s one way that’s guaranteed to make their newborn fall asleep: putting them in the back seat of a moving car.

The motion gently rocks the child to sleep. The only problem? One parent has to stay awake to actually drive the car. So while you may get some peace and quiet, you won’t be able to enjoy it properly by falling asleep yourself.

However, one resourceful father appears to have solved the conundrum. In a video titled Watch What Happens When I Leave Daddy Home Alone With Baby, a baby can be seen fast asleep in the back of a remote-controlled miniature truck.

The dad uses his phone to capture footage of the small child as the truck drives from room to room. His trick has since gone viral, receiving over a million hits in the space of two weeks.

The only question is whether the toy is manually controlled or on autopilot. If it’s the latter, expect to see a run on miniature trucks at toy stores.
