Students robbed

FOUR armed suspects made off with various electronic goods after breaking into three student residences in Summerstrand at the weekend.

A student, 21, was studying in her room at the accommodation in Admiralty Way when two suspects, a man with a firearm and a woman with a knife, kicked open the door and took her cellphone and tablet, police spokeswoman Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said.

“It is believed there were two other men with them,” she said.

“They then broke windows and took electronics from two other students’ rooms.”
