Racial motive suspected as helmeted young white man slashes hand of popular lifesaver
A POPULAR Port Elizabeth surf lifesaver was cruelly hacked with a panga in what appears to have been a racial attack at the North End Lake, severing the tendons in his hand.
Luvuyo Nonzinyana, 34, of Kwazakhele, said from his hospital bed last night that the two helmeted white men had not uttered a word during the vicious attack on Tuesday evening.
