Reopening of Provincial’s casualty unit on the cards and Livingstone cleanup begins
THE winds of change are blowing through Port Elizabeth’s Provincial and Livingstone hospitals, with the new chief executive determined to improve health services at both.
Among sweeping changes planned by Thulani Madonsela is the reopening of Provincial Hospital’s casualty unit within three years.
He has already set in motion a big cleanup at notoriously filthy Livingstone Hospital.
