Police out in full force looking for Jayde

Police have formed a 24-hour joint operation centre (JOC) at the Kebega Park Police Station following the abduction of 28-year-old Jayde Panayiotou. Anyone with information can call the JOC on 041 397 6873 and volunteers can also report to the station.

Police were out in full force this morning in search for Panayiotou. More than 200 policemen are currently involved in the search, including members of the Air Wing, K9 Unit and Organised Crime.

The reward for the safe return of Panayiotou was increased to R150 000 last night.

Panayiotou disappeared without a trace just minutes after talking to a close friend at about 6.30am yesterday (22/04/15). It is feared that she was abducted by at least two men, one of whom withdrew money from her bank account about 1½ hours after she went missing.
