Bay production company seeks actors

A PORT Elizabeth production company is looking for actors to bring routine childhood immunisation and Ebola to life through three short social media videos it is producing for the UN’s humanitarian programme.

They will air during Immunisation Week next month.

The UN’s International Children’s Fund (Unicef) has partnered with Walmerbased Rooftop Productions to produce the videos.

The aim of the first two videos is to promote the importance of immunisation in saving children’s lives.

The third will raise awareness around Ebola and what it has been like for the communities and people of west Africa fighting the disease.

Rooftop Productions manager Denna Jones said they had previously produced three other videos for Unicef.

“We have built a strong partnership with the organisation,” she said.
