The Economic Freedom Fighters are so determined to get President Jacob Zuma to repay the Nkandla millions they are literally counting down the seconds to when they will get a chance to remind him to “pay back the money”.

The EFF has set up a countdown timer on its website, with the heading “SONA countdown Zuma #paybackthemoney”, to again remind Zuma that they will put him on the spot in 10 days’ time.

The timer counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds to the time on February 12 when Zuma is due to deliver his state of the nation address (Sona).

The EFF’s “pay back the money” interjection and subsequent social media hashtag became hugely popular after a riotous parliamentary sitting in August.
