Gruesome double murder rocks PE

A HOUSE of horrors scene greeted neighbours when they discovered the naked bodies of two women with plastic bags over their heads in a grisly and macabre double murder at a Bethelsdorp house.

Police officers described a "gruesome and disgusting" murder scene with both women severely beaten and possibly raped, while the walls were smeared with blood and an overpowering odour filled the house.

The shocking find was made after residents broke into the Asinamali Street house on Monday afternoon to investigate a horrible smell coming from the house.

The bodies were badly decomposed, making it hard for police to identify them.

Only one victim has been identified so far – Yoliswa Zilni, 26, of Grahamstown. She was in Bethelsdorp for the weekend to visit family.

Both women were naked, their hands and feet bound together with wire, and plastic bags over their heads.
