DA expects ANC to get 60% of vote

DA leader Helen Zille says her party’s research indicates the ANC will return to power with 60% of the vote in the May 7 election. Analysts and researchers have cited service delivery protests‚ e-tolls and the R200-million upgrade to President Jacob Zuma’s Nkandla residence as factors which may bring the party’s majority down below 60%. Zille was coy about the likely performance of her own party in the election. – Natasha Marrian
