A Port Elizabeth man who allegedly stabbed his second wife multiple times in October 2015, 15 years after he killed his first wife, has been found fit to stand trial.

The case against Martin Stevens, 49, a cabinet maker from Algoa Park, was postponed to April 5 in the Port Elizabeth Regional Court yesterday.

He faces a charge of attempted murder after Anna-Marie Stevens, 45, was stabbed outside a friend’s flat in Sydenham.
