Power outage in Kragga Kamma and surrounding areas

Nelson Mandela Bay Muncipal spokesman Mthubanzi Mniki confirmed that electricity supply cables along Kragga Kamma road have been damaged by construction vehicles working in the area earlier today.

The damage resulted in the surrounding areas currently experiencing a power outage. While Mniki was unable to specify a time period as to when the power would be restored, he did say municipal workers were are on the scene.

“The municipality is aware of the situation, and workers at the scene currently working to rectify the problem. It is unclear how long the repairs will take, but residents should be advised that it is being attended too,” Mniki said.
