South African reportedly among Orlando shooting victims

Reports surfaced on Monday suggesting that a South African was amongst the 50 people killed in the Pulse nightclub in Orlando early on Sunday morning.

Heavy.com said “Peter O. Gonzalez-Crus has been identified as one of the victims of the mass shooting” and added that his was “one of the first six deaths to be confirmed by the city of Orlando” in the USA’s worst mass shooting in history.

“He was from South Africa‚” the report claimed‚ adding that‚ “according to Gonzalez-Crus’s ‚ he was from Benoni‚Gauteng‚ South Africa”.

“His page‚ which is now in ‘Memorial mode’‚ also says that he had formerly lived in Batam‚ Ouham‚ Central African Republic.”
