Former Kingfisher FM presenter's case postponed

The sexual assault case against a former Kingfisher FM presenter was provisionally postponed to June 7 in the Port Elizabeth Regional Court.

Magistrate Johan Herselman, who was not happy with such a long postponement because of the unavailability of the man’s legal representative from Cape Town, said there may come a time where the 35-year-old accused will have to appoint local counsel.

Well-known criminal lawyer and commentator William Booth was not in court on Friday and has not been in court since taking up the case.

The former DJ is accused of stalking a woman online with threats to rape her.
