Student sustains two gunshots

A twenty-year-old student is in critical condition after he sustained two gunshots at a university in the Gauteng province. The student was allegedly being robbed at the time of the incident.

Netcare911 paramedics managed to stabilise the critically injured man on scene.

The Netcare2 helicopter was dispatched to the scene to airlift the student to a Johannesburg hospital for further medical care. The incident happened at about 11h30 today.
