Street chase ends in stabbing death

The body of a Bethelsdorp man was found in his home neighbourhood on Friday night.

Sebastian Solomon, of Lodewyk Avenue, was found stabbed to death in Kakora Street – less than a kilometre away from his house.

Police spokeswoman Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said the man was last seen fleeing from a group of about 10 men a little more than an hour before his body was found.

Solomon was walking down the street at 11pm on Friday when he was chased. His body was found shortly after midnight, Janse van Rensburg said.
