Search for missing patients continues

The searched continued yesterday for three psychiatric patients who escaped from Livingstone Hospital earlier this week.
The men were awaiting admission to a secure ward at Dora Nginza Hospital.
Provincial health spokesman Sizwe Kupelo said is was believed that the men had walked out when a strike by Mafoko Security guards left the accident and emergency unit temporarily unattended.
Nine patients escaped originally but six were found at a nearby SA Social Security Agency paypoint.
