Four suspect arrested in Kwanobuhle

Kwanobuhle police arrested four robbers at about 10am today after the group allegedly robbed someone in an open field next to Matanzima Road, Kwanobuhle.

Police spokeswoman Lieutenant Gerda Swart said residents alerted police to the robbery and the suspects were arrested moments later.

The men were is possession of a suspected stolen firearm, cash and cellphone.

The four will appear in the Kwanobuhle Magistrate's court on Monday on charges ranging from robbery aggravating and the illegal possession of an unlicensed firearm.
