Uitenhage Cops nab thieves

Two suspects were apprehended by Uitenhage police this morning(11/11/2015) for allegedly stealing several items from vehicles in Uitenhage’s town area.

Police were busy patrolling Caledon Street, Uitenhage they noticed the two suspects, carrying a heavy load including wheelcaps, a battery, and tools worth more than R5000.  The two suspects, aged 18 and 28, are due to appear in the Uitenhage Magistrate’s Court on Friday (13/11/2015) charges ranging from possession of suspected stolen goods and possession of tools for breaking into cars.

Uitenhage Station Commander, Brigadier Leonie Bentley commended the two police officials for their alertness. Ongoing investigations will be conducted to establish how many cases the suspects could be linked to.
