The Bay rallies to aid the poor and disadvantaged

NELSON Mandela Bay residents are joining thousands around the world in celebrating Mandela Day tomorrow.

The day, observed each year on statesman Nelson Mandela’s birthday – July 18 – is a global movement to honour his life’s work and act to change the world for the better.

It calls on each person to spend 67 minutes doing just that. Each minute represents the 67 years Madiba dedicated to the country.
