Judge Hans Fabricius ruled in the Pretoria High Court today that Robin Stransham-Ford has the right to secure for himself a dignified death.
Robin Stransham-Ford‚ an advocate‚ has terminal prostate cancer.
The judge‚ in his groundbreaking judgment‚ found that a doctor who assisted in the euthanasia would not have his or her licence to practise removed by the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
