G’acres hijack link in Jayde’s murder

JaydeKilONE of the men suspected of murdering much-loved Riebeek College teacher Jayde Panayiotou has been on the run for two months after the hijacking of a pregnant woman from underground parking at the Greenacres shopping centre in Port Elizabeth.

To make matters worse, it emerges he was out on bail for a hijacking case in KwaNobuhle when the Greenacres incident occurred.

This information came to light yesterday after the pretty brunette’s body was found in Rocklands, outside Uitenhage, at about 10am.

In other developments, several places in Kwazakhele were raided and pictures of one of the suspects became available. They were taken at different times.

Amazing to think they know who this man is (as he’s out on bail), but he’s still out there even after several other crimes committed against the community – including the abduction and murder of Jayde. Is our justice system really that slack, or have they just given up fighting for those who are in need of their help?

I’m so disappointed with the Eastern Cape Justice system as it keeps on failing us Women and now another woman has been hijacked and killed because they couldn’t catch this Animal. How are we supposed to feel safe in our Province. Last year I read about a young woman who was Kidnapped and Gang Raped for Several hours and I bet on my life those guys haven’t been found and the young women of P.E are in great danger cause the people whom we’ve put our trust in are disappointing us big time. Only God can help us now we need to unite and stand together once they catch him he mustn’t get bail and he must be hanged yho what is this world coming to. My deepest condolences to Jayden’s family and friends please be strong and trust in the Lord as he hasn’t left your side even with heavy hearts keep on praising him and hopefully one day you will find peace in your hearts

we can only blame the legal system for allowing this to happen over and over again. This would not have happened if they kept this man in for doing the same thing over and over! Makes me sick that even when we capture the suspects that we let them go to do the same thing over and over again! who will punish them?

We are all devastated and deeply saddened by the tragic senseless death of Jayde. our justice system has once again failed us.. why was he out on bail in the first place? “To make matters worse, it emerges he was out on bail for a hijacking case in KwaNobuhle when the Greenacres incident occurred.”
yes crime is everywhere, but our country is known for its crime. the beauty of our country has been distorted.
