Manhunt underway following Polo hijacking

A manhunt is currently underway for four suspects after police recovered a hijacked Polo and three firearms, one an assault rifle, in Kwazakhele this morning (16/04/15).
The police Tactical Response Team recovered the firearms and vehicle following a tip-off. Four men fled from the scene and police forensic experts are still attaining evidence from the scene.
The bust comes only days after the elite Nelson Mandela Bay Hijacking Task Team confirmed that they were making headway in arresting key role players involved in a VW hijacking syndicate operating in Port Elizabeth.
VW hijacked cars from Port Elizabeth have already been recovered in East London, the Western Cape and Gauteng.
