Statues: Rhodes head urges caution

RHODES University vice-chancellor Dr Sizwe Mabizelayesterday cautioned against the “ad hominem” – or personal – attacks that had characterised calls for the removal of all remnants of colonialism, such as the Cecil John Rhodes legacy.
