AWARD-WINNING gospel music outfit Lusanda Spiritual Group’s 17th album will be launched just in time for Easter.
Group leader Lusanda Mcinga, who visited The Herald’s offices yesterday, said the new album, Nikodima, aimed to get people closer to God.
“I preach to people and deliver to them God’s message.
“By listening to this album people will surely be healed.
“In the last three albums we nearly lost our sound which has made us popular to our fans and I am glad to say that this album is the old sound of Lusanda Spiritual Group that they have grown to love,” she said.
Mcinga, who spent a night in holding cells in November 2011 after beating someone who sold pirated CDs, said she was worried about the way people were taking food from musicians’ mouths.
