Petrol pump relief for motorists short-lived

THE relief felt by motorists at the petrol pumps has been short-lived, with the price of fuel increasing by 96 cents from today.
The cost of 93 unleaded petrol on the coast is now R10.81 a litre, while 95 unleaded petrol costs R10.86.

The cost for 95 lead replacement petrol costs R10.86 and diesel will cost R9.74 a litre at the coast. Paraffin has increased by 73 cents to sell for R6.68 at the coast.

Today’s increases do not include the Fuel and Road Accident Fund levies that were announced by Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene during his budget speech last week.
