Fifty readers stand a chance to win a double ticket to an energetic new show at the Boardwalk amphitheatre in Port Elizabeth.
An action-packed tribute to the guitar will take audiences on a magic musical trip at the amphitheatre from tonight to Friday.
Duel at High Noon is a journey through the history of the guitar and how it evolved, with timeless songs by legendary bands.
Magnetic Storm has teamed up with Rockface Productions to present the show, set in the Wild West, and featuring “sheriff” Jethro Butow – the fastest gun in the West – and young “axe slinger” Andries Botha, who will try to take down the sheriff.
Both musicians are rated among the top five rock guitarists in South Africa. Butow was inducted into the Rock SA hall of fame two years ago.
The pair are backed by seasoned professionals Francois Hugo, and Deon and Kevin Mattheus.
Patrons can expect music from Kansas, B B King, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Queen, Gary Moore, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Van Halen, AC/DC and many more.
Tickets are R100 a person from Computicket.
