Couple stab each other in Jeffreys Bay

A couple were treated for stab wounds after attacking each other on a beach in Jeffreys Bay, Eastern Cape, on New Year’s day, the NSRI said on Friday.

“The man was also treated for a serious head injury,” National Sea Rescue Institute spokesman Craig Lambinon said in a statement.

“Police guarded the NSRI medics treating the two patients in a tense and volatile atmosphere.”

The couple, believed to be married, were taken to hospital in stable condition.
