UPDATE: Search hampered by mountain fire

A two hour aerial search failed to spot a light aircraft that is believed to have crashed on a mountain outside Cathcart.
Emergency medical services are also attempting to locate the person who claimed to have witnessed the crash.
The search continues but it is hampered by mountain fire.
