A BAKKIE-LOAD of books donated by pupils for pupils has led to the establishment of the first fully stocked library at Strelitzia Primary School in Bethelsdorp. Last month, Clarendon Park Primary’s 905 pupils rallied together and donated more than 500 books to Strelitzia for the school to establish a library to assist in improving literacy levels.

“I felt something special. When they left [after collecting the books], we all had smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts!” - Tremaine van Aardt
