DA’s Trollip visits Walmer township to see bucket toilets, squalid conditions

THE basic human necessity of going to the toilet is a daily conundrum for Walmer township shack-dweller Nono Fans, who struggles without running water or a flushing toilet.
Councillor Andile Mfunda refused to comment on Trollip’s statement, but said: “They know we’re eradicating the bucket system.” -Rochelle de Kock
