St Francis house hit by lightning

A house in St Francis Bay was hit by lightning during last night's electrical storm, causing a fire, The St Francis Chronicle reported this morning.
Fire fighters were on the scene in Sunset drive this morning and the thatch roof was still slightly on fire. Winds are reportedly causing anxiety at the moment.
In November 2012 fires , speared on by gale-force winds driving the flames, destroyed or damaged 76 houses.
