Radio presenter released on bail

A local community radio presenter and pastor accused of statutory rape has been released on R2000 bail. The allegations relate to an incident with the then 15-year-old girl in 2013.
The man, in his 40s, who faces , appeared briefly in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's Court this afternoon.
The presenter, who cannot be named until he pleads, was arrested at his Gelvandale home at about 2pm on Thursday last week.
His case was postponed to October 14, 2015 for further investigation. - Kathryn Kimberley
