Zuma trusts Danny to "turn things around"

President Jacob Zuma has full confidence in Nelson Mandela Bay mayor Danny Jordaan’s ability to turn things around in the city.

Addressing a crowd of over 10 000 people at the Dan Qeqe stadium in Zwide on Friday, Zuma voiced his confidence in Jordaan's ability.

Zuma, , added that he wants the municipality "revitalised and restored to its former glory".

Addressing the crowd, Jordaan said the metro is unable to respond to water leaks in the city at the moment, but he is committing to the war on water leaks project.

The government’s ‘War on Leaks’ programme is designed to train  15 000 artisans or plumbers who will in turn fix leaking taps in their communities.
