Seven killed in Wells Estate shack fire

A grandmother, her daughter and five children were killed in a shack fire in Tshazimeunzi Street, Wells Estate at about 3:30am this morning.
Nelson Mandela Bay's portfolio head of safety and security councillor Fikile Desi said the cause of the fire is still unknown at this stage.
He said there were surviving family members who were fortunately not at home at the time when the fire started.
