Load-shedding stage 1 and 2 today

Eskom didn’t mess around on Friday morning.

Missing from its social media feed was the almost standard “there is a low probability of load shedding this morning and high probability in the evening” outlook Twitter users are used to.

@Eskom_SA on Friday morning tweeted bluntly: “The load shedding prognosis today is high”, and before midday the power utility had announced that Stage 1 load-shedding will be implemented from 12:00- 17:00 followed by Stage 2 load-shedding from 17:00-22:00.
