Rapist sentenced to 25 years in prison

An Eastern Cape man was yesterday sentenced to 25 years imprisonment for raping a 13-year-old girl in 2013.
According to police Siyakudumisa Ntengo, 31, went to the home of the victim at Hewu Location Cegcuwana Village, Butterworth on 25 October 2013 at about 04:00am. He dragged the victim to his home at Mphesheya Location where he repeatedly raped her.
Ntengo was found guilty of rape and was sentenced by the Butterworth Regional Court yesterday. - Siphokuhle Mkancu
