Zuma to release Marikana report 30 June

President Jacob Zuma will release the much anticipated Marikana Commission report on June 30.

This comes as the North Gauteng High Court is preparing to hear an urgent application to compel President Zuma to immediately release the report.

The urgent application is brought forward by over 300 miners and the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (AMCU).

Miners and AMCU believe it is illegal for the President to take this long to review the report.

Reports suggests that President Zuma will only finish studying the report of the findings of the Marikana Massacre at the end of June.
